Terri Lyne Carrington | Zildjian Drum Set Artist

Terri Lyne Carrington

Band Leader

Three-time GRAMMY® award-winning drummer/producer Terri Lyne Carrington started her professional career as a “kid wonder,” receiving her endorsement from Zildjian when she was 10 years old. Early in her career she gained national recognition as the house drummer for the Arsenio Hall Show and her 2011 album, Money Jungle: Provocative in Blue, established her as the first woman ever to win a GRAMMY® in the Jazz Instrumental category. She has worked extensively with luminary artists, Herbie Hancock and Wayne Shorter, and her current band, Social Science, has released their first album, Waiting Game. She also serves as founder and artistic director for the Berklee Institute of Jazz and Gender Justice.
